The Grange
The Grange is a beautiful Queen Anne style Grade II listed house set in rolling countryside. Having been completely renovated, the young family wanted the interior to reflect their modern lifestyle rather than be a slave to the history of the house.
The wonderful period features, high ceilings and large sash windows provided a beautiful blank canvas for us to add contemporary furnishings and a sense of easy luxury. Unexpected items like the bubble hanging chair and ethnic style pieces gave a sense of fun and individualism to the scheme. The colour palate was kept muted throughout, with accents of bold colour brought in with textured wallpapers, accessories and soft furnishings. The lighting scheme was particularly important in highlighting period features and adding a sense of drama to the overall scheme.
